  • Description

    • The Embedded Test Engineer will work in a high velocity and dynamic environment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.     • Develop and integrate software for existing embedded systems
    • Review customer requirements and specification for developing software and hardware solutions
    • Maintain, organize, and build upon software libraries and solutions
    • Specification and application guide development and drafting
    • Conduct design and code reviews and other defect prevention activities
    • Design and promote new components and sub-processes
    • Perform need analysis and initiate ideas and innovation to current products
    • Participate in activities related to software debugging and issue resolution
    • Participate in activities related to quality processes and documentation
    • Execute code integration, configuration management, and release processes
  • Desired Profile

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant field of study
    • Experience in development, testing, or familiarity of embedded control systems
    • Proficient with in-vehicle communication networks such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and/or J1939
    • Proficient programming skills with embedded C/C++ and Python
    • Proficient model-based development with Matlab/Simulink
    • Understanding of Cyber Security and related practices and requirements
    • Understanding of Electrical Systems, Electronics, Hydraulic Systems and Mechanical Systems
    • Understanding of Control Systems related to ECU, Drivetrain, Propulsion System, or Power Generation
    • Understanding of Microcontrollers and related requirements, constraints, and capabilities
    • Experience in Automotive, Truck & Off-Highway, Agricultural Equipment, Heavy Equipment, or Aerospace industries
    • Experience with control electronics, sensors, and/or actuators
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • Systematic approach, attention to detail, and good problem solving skills
    • A willingness to learn and desire to be challenged
