  • Description

    • The IT Applications Systems Analyst will be responsible for understanding our business requirements and designing software applications that meet those requirements using existing technology.
  • Desired Profile

    • Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance.
    • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
    • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
    • Solid experience in writing SQL queries (Oracle experience preferred).
    • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
    • Bachelors degree in CS/MIS or equivalent plus four (4) years related experience and/or training.
  • Responsibilities

    • Writing technical documentation for existing software applications.
    • Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications for software applications.
    • Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution to software applications.
    • Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
    • Performing quality assurance.
    • Defining reporting requirements.
    • Assisting with designing, documenting and maintaining system processes.
    • Reporting on common sources of technical issues or questions and making recommendations to product team.
    • Communicating key insights and findings to product team.
    • Assisting with developing operational methods and standards for documentation.
    • Creating manuals and learning materials relating to the various systems and support activities.
    • Ensuring technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson.
    • Preparing charts, graphs, workflows and other visual representations of information.
    • Providing updates and revisions as necessary.
