    DESSS is hiring a SharePoint Content Management System contractor. This position requires collaboration on building a proof of concept, importing a representative sample of content, and helping to create a folder structure, taxonomy, and tag structure to support our growing content library. 

    We’re looking for someone is a high energy, curious, and a good team player to help us refine and shape our requirements through a hands-on approach.   The person most successful in this role will be a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating across a large group to win as a team.

  • Desired Profile

    • The ideal candidate will be experienced one or more content management systems including SharePoint.
    • Candidate must have Strong Knowledge and good experience in Taxonomy.
    • Experience with OneDrive administration is required.
    • Experience with SharePoint Administration is required. 
    • Experience using SharePoint as a content management system, including setting up and administering managed metadata is required. 
    • Information Architecture experience is nice to have.
    • Be able to help create Taxonomy, Folksonomies and Term Sets by working with subject matter experts.
    • Knowledge of the SharePoint Term Store Management Tool required
    • Scripting experience for automation is a strong plus (eg, Python).  
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate certification is a plus
    • Ability to multitask while performing at a high level (manage multiple assignments/activities/projects) in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
    • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated, can work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate will work closely with knowledge experts to create a single, unified repository for all our training content.
    • As a part of the share-point/One-drive repository design phase, the candidate will need to help with defining the requirements and/or act as a sounding board for the feasibility of these requirements for such an LMS database.
    • Help create a flexible, scalable folder structure in OneDrive
    • Help create a taxonomy and tagging structure by working collaboratively with subject matter experts.
    • Create a Proof of Concept SharePoint Site / Library with managed metadata.
    • Interface to our LMS (Workday Learning) to programmatically upload content and tags.
    • Once Proof of Concept is done, apply to learn and refine the requirements
    • Build a production worthy SharePoint site/library
    • Help import bulk content adhering to tag structure
    • Document all processes & procedures for handoff
